Ben Slick
Board Member- President
I’m the SVP of Business Development at HydroPoint Data Systems, a smart water management company HQ’d in Petaluma. I have 40+ years of sales and general management experience in the software and network services industry.
I have had the chance to witness the excellence of Dan Hubacker, the Program Director, his competence, passion and unique ability to engage and enrich students is inspiring. I want to do whatever I can to help him evolve this program.
Rich Inman
Board Member- Secretary
I retired from a career at Frito Lay of over 30 years as a route sales manager. Before that I owned and managed a family grocery store in the East Bay. After graduating high school, I served in the Navy for six years as an anti-submarine warfare aircrewman at Moffet Field. I was on the board of the McDowell Drug Task Force for 10 years until it was dissolved. Currently I'm the “Big Sir” (President) of SIR (Sons in Retirement), Branch 58 in Petaluma.
Morisa Watland
Board Member - Public Relations & Treasury
I started with the program in 5th grade as a junior anglers and joined the program in high school as a freshman. I held roles as VP my junior year and President my senior year. I went on to work for the program as the public relations and government liaison. I have been on the board for over 5 years and love supporting our vision. This program is unique in every way. Every student should have the ability to experience this high level of academia, community, and leadership.
Al Lucine
Board Member-
I have been a member of the Petaluma community for 23 years with two daughters who both attended Casa Grande High School. I’m a handyman who loves to fish. I encouraged my daughter to join UACG after hearing about the creek restoration they do. My daughter was a part of the UACG program all 4 years and was the president her final year which introduced me to the board of UACG.
Priscilla Cespedes
Board Member- Social Media & Alumni Relations
I joined the program the last two years of high school. I made lifelong friends, memories and learned many valuable skills. While attending SSU I returned and worked as a Hatchery Tech and got to help a new generation of Anglers. My current roles in the program are social media, alumni relations as well as providing help with spanish translations. I have been part of the board for a year.
